Angelos Efthimiou Returns to Akritas as Head Coach

Akritas Chlorakas is delighted to announce Angelos Efthimiou as the club’s new head coach.

Efthimiou is no stranger to Akritas. During his previous spell in charge, he was the head coach who led the team to promotion from the Third Division to the Second Division, a landmark achievement in the club’s history. Under his leadership, Akritas also reached the Third Division Cup final.

The coach behind a defining achievement

Promotion marked a major step forward for Akritas. The campaign demanded commitment, hard work and belief across the squad, and Efthimiou guided the team through the challenge as head coach. The club’s rise from the Third Division to the Second Division remains a proud moment for everyone connected with Akritas.

The cup run added another memorable milestone. Reaching the Third Division Cup final gave the team the opportunity to compete for silverware and made his previous spell an important chapter in the club’s progress.

A familiar connection, a fresh challenge

Efthimiou returns with experience of the club and a proven connection to a successful period in its history. Now the focus turns to the work ahead: bringing the group together, building consistency and helping Akritas meet its objectives for the season.
